Is a D+ passing in college?

A letter grade of a D is technically considered passing because it not a failure. A D is any percentage between 60-69%, whereas a failure occurs below 60%. Even though a D is a passing grade, it’s barely passing.

Is CA passing grade in CSUN?

Credit/No Credit Grading A grade of CR, indicating passed with credit, is given for work equivalent to “C” or better for undergraduate students and for work equivalent to “B” or better for post-baccalaureate and graduate students.

Is D passing in college CSUN?

How do you get kicked out of CSUN?

Any student whose total GPA is below a 1.0 will be disqualified immediately without first being placed on probation. A student on probation may also be disqualified after the following semester if his/her CSUN or Total GPA is below the minimum level for the class level (See Table below).

How do I check my grades CSUN?

Checking Your Score

  1. Go to and Log into the Portal.
  2. Scroll down to the box on the left side of the page – “Tools for Academic Success”
  3. In the right column of red circle buttons, click on “Check Test Scores”

Is a D+ good?

A+, A, A- indicates excellent performance. B+, B, B- indicates good performance. C+, C, C- indicates satisfactory performance. D+, D, D- indicates less than satisfactory performance.

Is a 60 a passing grade in high school?

Students in high school are required to pass a minimum of 22 credits in order to graduate. The minimum passing grade is a D, or 60%. The minimum passing grade for each class is a C.

Can I graduate if I fail a class?

If you’re failing a class before graduation, you won’t graduate. If you can’t adjust course and get a passing grade, or it’s too late, you’ll have to retake the class the following semester in order to get your degree (both for High School or College.)
