Bite the soft portion of the valve and suck at the same time – this will start the flow of water. The valve will remain sealed when not in use. Some models are equipped with a lock that you can engage to prevent accidental spilling which you can operate the shutoff by rotating the body of the valve 90 degrees.
How do you clean Salomon hydrapak?
Gently remove the silicone sheath from the valve and clean with Bottle Bright or mild soap and water. Clean the inside of the tube by inserting the Hydrapak Tube Brush in the open end of the tube and scrub. After drying the components, carefully reattach the sheath to the valve and re-install.
Are Salomon soft flasks dishwasher safe?
The water flask is also dishwasher safe meaning that cleaning it does not have to be a difficult job of trying to get your hand to fit into the cap hole. It is able to reliably withstand the heat and water pressure of dishwashers and be clean and ready for use as soon as it’s done.
Can you put alcohol in HydraPak?
We recommend that you do not put any of the following liquids into your HydraPak: Alcoholic beverages. Anything highly acidic, such as vinegar. Anything highly basic, such as ammonia.
Can you put water bladder in dishwasher?
If your valve is super dirty and you want to dry it out, you can leave a toothpick in there while it’s drying to increase airflow. You can always dismantle the pieces of your bladder and put them in the dishwasher.
How do you fill a hydrapak bladder?
To open, pull the slider top sideways from the closed/flared end until removed. Unfold the opening and pull the two sides apart. To close, fold the top molded parts down once and slide the slider top across the length of the folded area to seal.
How do you clean a Salomon bladder?
This is true even if it only contains water.
- Start with a good rinse of your bottle and its cap after each use.
- Clean them with mild soap and water.
- Scrub the inside of the bottle with a bottle brush.
- Rinse the bottle and cap thoroughly.
- Turn the bottle upside down and let it air dry. Easy peasy!
Can you freeze a soft flask?
Yes, it’s safe to freeze your NDURE Reservoir or Soft Flask, but please note: 1. Don’t fill it all the way – ice expands and if it’s completely full, it could split open the plastic. Be sure not to drop it, as an impact while at a low temperature can cause the plastic to split open.
