Over at the Cricut Lovers Guide to Design Space, we have seen several of our members saying they wish they could still design while they’re project is being cut. Well… you can! You might not know that you can have Design Space open twice on your computer. And you can be logged into the same account on both!
Can you cut your own designs with Cricut explore AIR 2?
Well, the answer is YES! You can upload your own images, designs, and graphics to Cricut Design Space, then cut them out with your machine. You can even upload photos and use the Print & Cut feature to make projects using your very own photos!
Is the Cricut explore AIR 2 the same as Cricut explore family?
The original Cricut Explore is the one that I use. It has two carriages in it that allow me to cut and score or cut and write all in one step. The Cricut Explore Air is a newer member of the fam and offers all the same features as the original with the addition of wireless capabilities.
Why is Cricut charging me to make my own project?
After several days of being logged in, your Design Space session will automatically sign you out. When this happens, it may still appear that you are signed in, but your images and fonts may show a charge. Simply sign out of Design Space, then sign back in to refresh your account.
Can two accounts use the same Cricut?
You only need one ID account for your Cricut. Even if you have multiple machines, they all can be run through one account. If you purchase digital image through Cricut site, the image will be uploaded to the account you purchased it under and can’t be used it in other accounts.
How does Cricut know where to cut?
What is this? You will notice there is a black box around your entire image/ images on your Make It screen and also printed on your paper. This is the registration marks or sensor marking that the Cricut needs to scan so it knows where to cut.
Can you just print from Cricut design space?
The Cricut image library contains Printable images which are pre-designed with decorative patterns. They come onto the design screen ready to Print Then Cut. Select a Printable image (a small printer icon will appear on the image tile), add it to your Canvas, and then select Make It to Print Then Cut.
Can Cricut Explore Air 2 engrave?
PLEASE NOTE: The Chomas engraving/etching tool works in the Maker, Explore, Explore Air, Explore Air 2 and Explore One (tool goes into slot B, the right side, in place of blade). ENGRAVE ON ANYTHING: You can engrave on pretty much anything you can fit under the rollers of your machine.
What is the difference between a Cricut Explore Air and a Cricut Explore Air 2?
The easiest way to explain the difference is to just point out that the Explore Air and the Explore Air 2 are the same machine, except that the Explore Air 2 cuts twice as fast. So just compare the Cricut Explore One vs. Air, and then factor in that the Air 2 is 2x faster.
